Yancy Gaitan Contreras
Hello, my name is Yancy Gaitan. I was born and raised in El Salvador. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I am passionate about my job as a Legal Representative/Paralegal in Immigration Law. I love to help people and I feel that my job allows me to provide and give people the opportunity to gain immigration status and reunite with their family members in the United States. I came as an immigrant myself and I know how it feels to come into a strange world with different traditions and cultures. I came to the United States when I was just 10 years old and it was an experience that I will always remember. I know how it feels first-hand to learn and get used to a second culture and a new language. I am so grateful because America is a great world of opportunities and if you set your mind to accomplish your goals you can do it in God’s will.
I am blessed to be able to help people, especially my Spanish community. I Graduated from Wheaton High School and I attended Montgomery College; I am licensed as a Tax Preparer in the State of Maryland, and I also have my Board License as a Medical Technician. I am a very responsible, and honest person. I am a mother of three lovely children who are now fourteen, eleven, and four and I am happily married; I love my family, they are the world to me. That is why it is so special for me to be able to help other families in such a meaningful way.
